Speaking - Common Conversations

 At the Airport


Q: Excuse me! Where can I put my luggage?
A: You can put your luggage in a trolley and push it to the check-in desk.

Q: What is the check-in desk?
A: A place where some one will check your ticket and weigh your luggage.

Q: What about my passport?
A: An immigration officer looks at your passport.

Q: I have a hand luggage!
A: It is O.k. A security guard checks your hand luggage before you go into the departure lounge.

Q: Do I have to wait?
A: Yes, till your flight is called. You see on the departure board or you hear an announcement that you must board your plane.

Q: Thank you very much for this information.
A: Enjoy your flight.
